Occupation: Program Coordinator at Northwestern

Alexis lives in Uptown with her boyfriend and cat named Dante. A few fun facts: she likes talking about running and buying running clothes but not really running, she is teaching herself Urdu (a language), she is addicted to Amazon, she buys things from Sephora.com just so she can get the free gifts, she likes drawing in Microsoft paint, she recently received her masters in international education and just moved back to the city and most important (not really) she loves to read. This is actually Alexis' second Book Club, she is in a South Asian Literature Book Club and is looking for a BC with a little more wine fun! I know she has already finished Little Bee (and the lastest Us Weekly) and is looking forward to meeting everyone tomorrow night! See everyone then!

Hometown: Mequon, WI
Occupation: Student
Hobbies: organizing, making things pretty (people and places), Oprah – watching, reading (some people say they love Oprah but she REALLY loves Oprah). Katy just moved to Chicago from Seattle, some girls in BC know her from college.


Our Book Club now includes ladies from other states then Michigan. :)

We want to show her that we catch up on gossip pretty much the whole time quickly, don't we?

We want to show her how we each drink about six two glasses of wine, don't we?

We want to show her that we talk very loudly softly and lady-like, don't we?

We want to show her that we interrupt each other constantly wait for our turn to speak, don't we?

We want to show her that we argue all agree about what book will be next, don't we?

We want to show her how we chug sip our wine, don't we?

We want to show her how we pig out snack on our light appetizers, don't we?

We want to show her how we stumble into cabs leave gracefully, don't we?

We want to show her that we wake up hung over rejuvenated and ready to start the work day, don't we?
